Family owned and operted since 1984, Spring Lake Marina offers one of the widest selections of rental boats on the Chain O' Lakes. Offering you a friendly, courteous staff and a clean environment. We welcome you to join us for your relaxing and stress free summer boating experience. 


All of our watercraft are professionally maintained, and safety equipment including life jackets are provided. When you arrive for your reservation, a member of our staff will guide you through rules and safety information on the water. A one-on-one orientation is also included to make sure you are comfortable with the operation of your rental craft. Please continue reading below for additional information. ALL BOOKING IS DONE ONLINE

Our rental fleet includes a variety of pontoon and tritoon boat options. When you click the blue “BOOK NOW” (hyperlink) you will see a pop up window of our full rental fleet. To make your reservation simply select the boat you are interested in, the date, # of hours, and the time you would like to go. You are not under any obligation until you complete your booking with your credit card information. ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED, especially for weekends and holidays. PRICING & PAYMENT

 All  booking  is made online. Payment is due in full at the time of booking your reservation and must be charged to a valid Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. FUEL NOT INCLUDED. You boat goes out on a full tank of gas, and your are topped off for only what you have used and charged at the time you return to the dock. All engines are very economical.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO...

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE to rent/depart with any craft and must produce a valid driver's 

license at check-in


Persons born on or after January 1, 1998 must have a valid Illinois Boating Safety Certificate. For more information visit https://www.boat-ed.com/illinois/


FUEL IS NOT INCLUDED


NO PETS **NO BBQ'S** NO EXCEPTIONS


WATER SPORTS allowed on select boats only


NO ONE UNDER 18 may drive or operate any craft


LESSEE IS RESPONSIBLE for any loss or damage to the rental craft/equipment & contents


ARRIVE 30 MINUTES before the scheduled departure time. It is the customer’s responsibility to be on time for your reservation. No credit will be issued for the late arrival nor can we extend time to compensate.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Spring Lake Marina requires a minimum of a 72 hr (3 Days) cancellation notice for a full refund. Reservations canceled within less than 72 hrs. receive a rain date good for up to 1 year. No Show/No Call results in Full Forfeiture of paid rental.

Off-Peak Rates - 2 hr minimum - Tuesday-Friday & Spring/Fall season.


Eco Peak Rates - 4 hr Weekend Slot - Morning/Afternoon. Mindful of our customers who wish to watch their budget, we offer a limitd number of boats for those peak boating times. Supply will go FAST! Look for this icon when making your reservation.


Peak Rates - 6 hr minimum - Weekends & Holidays, Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend.

Hi-Performance Tri Toons   - 150HP OB motor - Max 14 People

Water sports available for this boat. NO FISHING ALLOWED.

Hi-Performance Deck Boat   - 150HP OB motor - Max 10 People (8 or LESS RECOMMENDED) Water sports available for this boat. NO FISHING ALLOWED.

Premier Pontoon   - 115-150HP OB motor - Max 13 People

Water sports available for this boat. NO FISHING ALLOWED.

Standard Pontoon   - 60-115HP OB motor - Max 8-10 People

Fishing is permitted with valid permits.

•Boats can be used anywhere on the Chain with the exception of the Fox River south of the Rt. 12 bridge and Pistake Lake. A $50 per hour service charge will be added to the rental if a breakdown occurs south of Lake Nippersink and our mechanic must come out to the breakdown site.

•All lessees of crafts are responsible for knowing where they are at all times on the lakes. 

•We suggest using your maps application on your cell phone to help indicate your location on the lakes.

•All laws and regulations, no wake areas, etc. must be strictly adhered to.

•For trouble-free boating, stay in the center of all channels and lakes. The Chain of Lakes are all silt bottom lakes and have seaweed particularly near shorelines. 

•ALL LAKES HAVE A NO WAKE ZONE from the shoreline OUT 150 feet. Before calling for help, check for seaweed/rope entwined on the prop. 

•Distribute passenger weight evenly throughout the vessel. Too much weight in the bow can bog the boat down and be dangerous when hitting wake.

•While operating the craft keep your hands and feet in the boat at all times.

•Life vest are available on all vessels. They should be handy while on a moving boat and must be worn and properly secured at all times when participating in water sports and all children 12 and under must wear a proper life vest at all times. We recommend bringing your own for your infant if possible as there are a limited number available.

SAFETY FIRST: Busy boating days such as weekend and holidays have a much higher volume of boating traffic on the entire Chain O' Lakes and it is safer to opt out of water sports such as skiing and tubing, etc. We encourage our customers to rent during the weekday when traffic is much lighter if you wish to participate in such activities.
